“Thank you so much,” exclaimed the girl. “You are small, but you are very courageous and strong.”
It was then that the two of them noticed the ogre’s magic hammer.
“Look,” said the girl. “The ogre’s magic hammer! If you swing this around your head, your every wish will be granted. What do you wish for, Issun Boshi?”
“I want to be big,” he answered immediately.
The girl picked up the hammer and swung it around her head. And, right before her eyes, Issun Boshi began to grow and grow until he had turned into a full-sized and very handsome young man.
Issun Boshi married the master’s daughter, and the two lived happily ever after.
